Frequently Asked Questions

What if there is bad weather or I cannot make the event for some reason?

This event will happen regardless of weather. If you think inclement weather will prevent you from coming the day of the event, we recommend reserving a room at the Hotel Marshfield the evening before and/or the evening of the event. Rooms can be reserved through their website here: https://hotelmarshfield.com/. Tickets are non-refundable. Please understand that we are only charging enough money to cover our costs, many of which are non-refundable. If you cannot attend after purchasing your ticket, you may allow someone else to attend in your place or you may consider just making your ticket price a contribution to help the cause. Donations are NOT tax deductible.

Is my ticket refundable?

No. Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may find someone else to go in your place or consider it a donation to the cause. Donations are NOT tax deductible.

I have dietary restrictions, will there be options available for me?

The Hotel Marshfield provides many lunch and snack choices, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. If you have concerns, please contact the organizers at fairmaps4wisummit@gmail.com.

Can I opt-out of sharing my information with other sponsors and attendees?

Yes. However, we don't recommend that. One of the goals of this event is to network with other people so we can keep everyone in the loop about town hall events, fair maps news, volunteer recruitment opportunities, and general encouragement to help each other accomplish our goals. We are also striving to get activists from all over the state and from many different organizations to participate, which means we need to know who you are, where you are, and how to contact you. You cannot opt out of sharing your contact information with the organizers of this event, but you can unsubscribe from all email notices not directly related to this event.

How do I access materials for the Summit?

We are encouraging people to use electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) to view/download materials before and during the summit. There will be a limited number of printed handouts available. They will also be available after the summit for download. The Hotel has excellent, free WiFi.

Documents for the conference will be available one week before the conference.
